Pastors Dirceu and Sandra Santana have been part of the New Hope Ministry family since 2012. From the moment they joined, they embraced the ministry's vision and have faithfully served in various areas with passion and humility. Their leadership journey began with New Hope Church in York, where they helped establish a strong and vibrant congregation. Later, they continued to lead New Hope Church in Leeds, continuing to dedicate themselves to the lives of others with commitment and spiritual maturity.

Today, they pastor the Portuguese Church in Manchester, where they continue to impact lives through their care, biblical teaching and commitment to building a Christ-centred community. Pastor Dirceu and Sandra are known for their pastoral heart, servant leadership and unwavering faith. They have been instrumental in supporting the growth of the Nova Esperança Ministry and are widely loved and respected by all.

Mariano and Jaris Gauna have devoted their lives to spreading the gospel and serving others through their ministry work. For many years, they served as missionaries with Youth With A Mission (YWAM), a global movement focused on evangelism, discipleship and training Christian leaders. During their time with YWAM, they passionately engaged in various outreach efforts, sharing God’s love across cultures and communities.

Currently, Mariano and Jaris serve as pastors at the New Hope Ministry, where they continue their commitment to ministry with a focus on worship and evangelism. They lead others in genuine worship experiences and guide their congregation in sharing the message of Jesus Christ. Their work reflects a deep dedication to building a strong, faith-filled community and inspiring others to grow in their relationship with God.

Luciano and Binha, originally from Brazil, are the dedicated leaders of the church in Barnsley. Before joining the York community, they faithfully served for many years at New Hope Church in Manchester, where they led the Portuguese-speaking congregation. Their cross-cultural ministry experience continues to enrich their leadership today.

Jose Raul Sepulveda, originally from the Dominican Republic, is a devoted servant of the Lord, faithfully serving as a deacon at New Hope Church. During his time with us, he has been a tremendous supporter, always willing to lend a helping hand and encourage others in their faith journey.

Alongside his wonderful family—his wife Yasmin and their two adolescent sons, Jose and David —Jose Raul has been a pillar of strength and a true blessing to our church community. Adrian Vazquez, originally from Spain, has joined the New Hope Youth Ministry, bringing his strong faith and dedication to serving the Lord. Despite his young age, Adrian demonstrates maturity and a deep commitment to God’s work, inspiring those around him with his devotion and passion for ministry.

Isa Cabi is an inspiring young leader dedicated to her role as the New Hope Youth Leader.
